Refund Policy – Aforetime Properties

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations, refunds, and booking modifications across Aforetime Properties, located at: 4 Moo 3, Taling Ngam, Koh Samui, Surat Thani 84140, Thailand. By confirming a reservation with any of our properties, you agree to comply with the refund terms detailed below.

Scope of Properties

This policy applies to all properties under Aforetime Properties, including:

  • MAI Place Hostel
  • TRIBE Hostel
  • Blooming Village
  • Jungle Hut

Please note that certain rate plans or booking platforms may have specific conditions, which will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

Full Refund Eligibility

Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date are eligible for a full refund, excluding any applicable payment gateway or processing charges.

Partial Refund Policy

Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours before check-in will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to 50% of the total booking value.

Non-Refundable Bookings

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in are non-refundable
  • No-shows (failure to arrive) are strictly non-refundable

Early Departure Policy

Guests who choose to depart earlier than the confirmed check-out date will not be entitled to a refund for unused nights.

Special Offers & Promotional Rates

Bookings made under promotional, discounted, or special offer rates are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking.

Reservation Date Modifications

Requests to modify reservation dates are:

  • Subject to availability at the selected property
  • Subject to prevailing rates at the time of change

Any difference in price or additional charges must be covered by the guest.

Non-Refundable Rate Plans

Some rate plans or packages across Aforetime Properties may be classified as non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation timeline. These conditions will be clearly indicated during booking.

Group Booking Refunds

Refund terms for group bookings may differ from individual reservations. Guests are advised to:

Force Majeure Circumstances

In cases of unforeseen events such as:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics
  • Other force majeure situations

Aforetime Properties reserves the right to offer:

  • Credit vouchers
  • Rescheduling options
  • Alternative solutions

instead of direct refunds.

Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days. The actual time may vary depending on the guest’s bank, payment method, or financial institution.
